“Well-Traveled”

“Well-Traveled”: a curated collection of vintage home decor evoking sophistication, timelessness, worldliness, and old world charm. Whether styled on a bookshelf, displayed on a coffee table, or hung on a wall, these items elevate and add history to a home.

Every piece in this collection was created in Europe or Asia and most were sourced in France. Twice a year, in a town outside of Paris, the largest antique festival in the world occurs. I attended this March with the sole goal of sourcing pieces for this collection. On a rainy Friday, I spent hours scouring through the selections of hundreds of vendors to find pieces to bring back to the US. While in Paris, I also visited various antique stores and weekly brocantes (flea markets) to round out this collection.

Highlights include: 18th century French skeleton keys, signed Santini sculpture, Chinese Cloisonné vases and bowl, 1880 Rococo Louis XV style hand mirror.
